The_Boss – THE DAYS OF THE TOWER ARE RIGHTLY GONE AND YOUR DISLIKE OF SOMEONE ELSES VIEWS DOES NOT MAKE THEM ILLEGAL – YET.

Sounds to me like the first action of the new chancellor is going to be to set up another “quango”.

Everyone presents facts, figures and statistics to their advantage. We all know that the same figures can be presented to support various arguments and this government will be no different.

It is no surprise that the friends of the Tories, The Institute of Directors, Business leaders and the CBI, are all in favour of what the Tories (oh, and the LibDems in their wake) are proposing. They will be unaffected by the severe and quick cuts, but many of the poorer in our society will be and many who presently have jobs, houses and are just managing their way out of the recession will join them when jobs are lost.
