Wolves have another chance to get out of the bottom three and Kevin Doyle says they must take it

Tuesday February 9,2010

By John Wragg

WOLVES have another chance to get out of the bottom three tomorrow and Kevin Doyle says they must take it.

Doyle’s sixth goal of the season was wasted on Sunday as Wolves surrendered a one-goal lead and lost 2-1 to Birmingham.

Next up is Tottenham at Molineux, the first in a trio of big home games that also pitches Wolves against Chelsea and Manchester United. Had Wolves won they would have climbed to 15th in the Premier League. “The good thing is we have another game quickly,” said Doyle. “I wouldn’t like to be stewing on this one for too long."

“It is hard not to dwell on it when the three points would have been so valuable. We would have leapfrogged a good few teams. We have a game in hand on a few and Wednesday is a chance to get out of the bottom three.”
